The Best Lip Balm of All Time: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ( Grapefruit ) Review

I never thought writing a new post after a hiatus will be challenging, but I am happy to be finally back to the game, I hope you enjoy the new layout!

Dry lips are never fun, and for the past few months since using NYX Butter Lipstick, I got a rash on my upper lip line and it was flaky. To make it worse, dry and cold Korean weather dried them up to the point they were about to bleed, so I jumped on the bandwagon at Shilla Incheon Duty-Free by getting my hands on Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Grapefruit) two hours before I flew back to Jakarta.

Housed in a beautiful, sturdy pink jar, it reminds me of Laneige Water Sleeping Mask that I review here. Similar to the Water Sleeping Mask, Laneige provides a little jelly-tip spatula to apply it. 

I was skeptical about this product as I thought that the thicker and richer the texture, the better the moisturizing property is,  but I was wrong. After irregularly using it for two weeks ( I also kept using Ofra Liquid Lipstick or NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick because they are great for dry lips) my lips start to look healthy, the rash is gone and no flakiness left. 

I still have tons of lip care products I want to try but I know I am going to repurchase this in the future. I shouldn`t have looked down on it!

Updated on 15 May 2022: This is definitely an unbeatable option to cure dry and cracked lips. Ever since I finished the whole jar, I notice that I rarely experience cracked lips. Present me has fulfilled the self-prophecy that I will repurchase it in the future.
