Best Drugstore Foundation : L'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear 24 HR in Radiant Beige (150) Review

It's probably the time to purchase a higher end foundation than something affordable, but a part of growing up is also handling your finance like Warren Buffet and If Tati prefers to wear the L'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear (not Stay Fresh) while she has the access to other luxurious options means this foundation is drop-dead good.

Free of Cyclopentasiloxane, this almost transfer proof, medium to full, long wearing and lightweight foundation doesn't break me out. The matte finish will turn into a satin finish within a few hours. If your skin are super dry and textured, a hydrating primer ( like Mac Prep and Prime Natural Radiance) might help giving a smoother finish.

Under day light

I don't have anything negative about the formulation, packaging and price point, but while L'oreal Customers in the States have 30 shades to choose, Here we're merely provided with 7 shades. This isn't the first time L'oreal made interesting choices for the Indonesian market.

Under Morning Day Light

Overall this is a beautiful and quite affordable foundation from the drugstore. The longevity and finish are the two standout factors. I personally feel this foundation will suit those with normal to oily or normal to dry skin. If you're on the drier side, layers of hydration and a dewy setting spray will benefit you. I also have to praise L'oreal decision to release something without Cyclopentasiloxane since it's getting harder these past couple years to find a complexion product which is Cyclopentasiloxane free.

Should you try this foundation? Depends! If you're not a big fan of having Alcohol Denat and Fragrance in your foundation, this is definitely a pass. This is also best applied using sponges instead of brushes and sponges aren't always everyone's favorite.

Not a Brush Friendly Option

As a final note, I won't suggest you to buy this online since it oxidizes ( it's not continuous oxidation). Go to the L'oreal Counter, swatch and wait for at least half an hour after testing to avoid a full commitment to a wrong shade. You have to be aware of the questionable shade numbering and naming so that your previous foundation and the US version can't be used as a benchmark.
