They're Worth the Splurge

The end of 2018 is coming and I'd like to dedicate the last post of 2018 by talking about products which are worth the splurge. If I usually stick to high end foundation and eye shadow palette, this year I chose different categories. Here are the three high-end products which I purchased this year.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger

You know I always try to find something to cover my dark circles, don't you? This concealer isn't creamy enough for my dry under eyes, but a little bit of moisturizer helps this product to glide smoothly. The coverage is medium to full,  but I don't layer too much since I'm afraid it will cake ( and it's expensive). On the days I don't want to do a full make-up look, I just dot it on troubled areas and I' m done, looking fully like a human. This stuff is free of Cyclopentasiloxane so my skin is okay.

Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder in Translucent Light

When you purchase concealer, you need setting powder. Every dry skin guru has mentioned this as one of the best setting powder for dry skin and I was sold. This finely milled setting powder is free of Talc, Paraben, fragrance, gluten and mineral oil which means it should suit sensitive skin.  However, since my under eyes are extremely dry, this brightening powder can accentuate fine lines. I'm not complaining, when you have fine lines alongside the hollows, it will never be smooth, unless I got Botox.

Benefit 24 -HR Brow Setter

For a clear brow gel, the price is pretty much unreasonable and it keeps rising, but I understand why people are willing to spend much just to keep eye brows in shape, we are all afraid of flying brows. This clear gel keeps eyebrows stay nice all day unless someone rubs them extremely hard. I never experience flaky brows in my whole blogging life so I'm happy to report this expensive brow gel doesn't give me any. Thumbs up, Benefit!
